Lymecycline is an antibiotic used to treat acne, the most common skin condition.

Bacteria on the skin surface causes infection and inflammation of acne spots. Lymecycline helps clear the infection and also reduces whitehead and blackhead formation and irritation.

It can take up to 8 weeks of treatment before acne improves. Our doctors will not prescribe more than 3 months of treatment over a set period of time.

This medication is taken once a day, over a course of several weeks. All capsules come in the 408mg (300mg active) strength which is the usual dose used to treat acne.
